Success Story – Horizons Helps Raise 25 Million for Church – Lovers Lane United Methodist Church had a very ambitious goal of raising 25 million dollars to complete many on campus projects and strengthen their foundation with endowment monies. With an operating budget of 4 million this was asking a lot of their congregation. After a significant period of vision discernment, a thorough feasibility study and careful campaign management they announced in the spring of 2008 that they had met their targets and broke ground on the first of many new facilities. Horizons was proud to have helped them secure over 6 times budget.

Success Story – St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Denver Colorado needed a new sanctuary and additional classrooms to minister to their growing congregation. It would take 8 million dollars to accomplish this feat. To make things more difficult this would be the fourth campaign in a row for this church and the most they had ever done previously was 3.5 million. Horizons helped secure a large major gift that was offered as a match early on in the process. With this incentive the church rose up and met the 8 million dollar challenge and is now poised to move forward with their project.
