Non-Profit Fundraising

The not-for-profit sector, sometimes referred to as the volunteer sector, the philanthropic sector or the third sector, is the fastest growing of the three economic sectors (government, business, and not-for-profit). While annually the demand for support for such organizations is increasing, the American public is responding with annual increases in support for organizations representing the sector. Most recently (2010), $300B was given to non-profits.
